The School’s Facilities

Dorin Park is situated in pleasant grounds in the leafy suburb of Upton-by-Chester. The school is a single-storey building adapted in full for wheelchair use. There are guide rails throughout the building and its light, bright interior makes it an ideal facility for the visually impaired.

The school has its own hydrotherapy pool and excellent outdoor play and recreation facilities for all ages. We also have a MUGA pitch, outdoor gym equipment and specialist teaching rooms. Also, a sensory room, sensory garden and nurture spaces. There are reading areas throughout the school.

We have an Outdoor Learning wild area which includes a smaller Mud Kitchen outdoor area.

Health professionals hold clinics in school. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language also have dedicated rooms within school to work with our children.
